The Gamergate 2.0 for Dummies.
The media, corporate shills, and billion-dollar companies want you to believe Gamergate 2 is a far-right harassment campaign against women, LGBTQ+, and marginalized groups. That’s a lie.
We don’t care about your personal life, your politics, or what you believe. We just want you to make good games, entertainment that can be enjoyed... by everyone... after all... isn't that what inclusion really means.
- Gamergate 2 is about standing up and saying we are not buying your shit. Make a good game or suffer.
- It is about taking back gaming for gamers.
- It’s about make games as entertainment again, free from your activism, propaganda, and agenda-pushing.
- It’s about rejecting the censorship and intentionally bad content developers try shove down our throats to spite the people who BUY the games.

Gamergate2, or #Gamergate2 as seen across social media like X, transcends the original Gamergate movement.
It's not merely about revisiting old debates over ethics in gaming journalism but a burgeoning renaissance for gamers who feel their culture is being co-opted by forces outside their community. These forces include what some within the gaming community perceive as the imposition of political correctness, diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) mandates, suggesting a shift towards an agenda-driven narrative rather than focusing on gamers' interests.

- Journalism Integrity: Like its predecessor, Gamergate2 questions the integrity of gaming journalism. There's a sentiment that journalists and developers sometimes exhibit disdain or disregard for their audience, pushing narratives or ideologies that may not align with the gaming community's desires.
- Cultural Identity: The debate highlights a tension between preserving gaming's cultural identity as a refuge for entertainment and an evolving space that reflects broader societal values. Gamers argue for a gaming culture that's by gamers, for gamers, free from what they might see as external ideological interference.
- Freedom vs. Censorship: There's a significant discussion around freedom of speech within gaming. Critics within Gamergate2 argue against perceived censorship or the suppression of feedback, especially when it challenges the incorporation of certain ideologies into game content.
- The Role of DEI: While diversity, equity, and inclusion are vital for many, there's contention over how these principles are implemented. The argument is for an organic inclusion rather than what's occasionally viewed as tokenism or virtue signaling, which might not genuinely address or represent the gaming community's diversity.
